This course is for you if…
-
you played the piano earlier in life, but drifted away
-
you feel rusty and a bit unsure where to begin
-
you want to enjoy playing again without pressure or performance
-
you like the idea of something structured, but gentle
-
you want to finish something — not sign up to endless lessons
This course is probably not for you if…
-
you’re looking for fast technical progress or exam prep
-
you want advanced repertoire or intense practice schedules
-
you thrive on deadlines, targets, and external pressure
What happens over the 4 weeks
Each week builds quietly and logically, with plenty of space to go at your own pace.
Week 1 — Start Playing
Begin playing something recognisable straight away, focusing on comfort and confidence.
Week 2 — Join the Hands
Gently bring the hands together, without rushing or tension.
Week 3 — Make It Musical
Add expression, shaping, and ease — this is where it starts to feel good.
Week 4 — Finish & Celebrate
Play the piece from start to finish, acknowledge what you’ve achieved, and decide what comes next.
Success here is simple: you finish a piece — calmly and musically.

How the course works
This course is designed for adult learners — which means flexibility and choice are built in.
-
One short teaching video per week
-
Clear assignment sheets to guide practice
-
Two pathways each week:
🎯 Core — enough to finish comfortably
✨ Extended — an optional stretch if you’re enjoying it
You choose what fits your energy and time.
There’s no expectation to do everything.
What makes this different
-
It’s designed to be finished, not endlessly continued
-
Practice is short, calm, and realistic for adult life
-
Progress is measured by comfort and musicality — not speed
-
You don’t have to “earn” the right to enjoy the music
This isn’t about becoming impressive.
It’s about reconnecting with something that once mattered.
