Student of the Month
May: Spencer
I asked Spencer a few quick questions about his piano journey recently…
🎵 Favourite piece to play right now:
A Dozen a Day exercises and Canoeing in the Moonlight.
🎯 What’s most fun about piano:
I get to learn new songs and they sound good.
✨ What he's most proud of:
My timing, and always using the right finger numbers.
🎹 What I’ve loved seeing this month as his teacher:
Spencer’s consistent practice is really paying off. He has a strong sense of rhythm and keeps a lovely relaxed hand position. He's recently completed the Faber Level 2A Classics book — a fantastic milestone — and always leaves lessons smiling (usually with a Minecraft or zombie sticker in hand).
